Update on Hayley ....

So, I've been a slacker about posting, but I'm hoping to do better. Here is a catch-up post about Hayley.

I can't believe Hayley will be 9-months old next week. Time has flown by. It's kind of depressing. Pretty soon she will be walking and talking and getting into everything. She is an expert at crawling and cruising and can climb the stairs. She doesn't trust herself enough to walk on her own, but she zooms when she is holding on to my fingers.

We had some pictures taken of her near the beginning of April. Here are a few of my favorites:

Hayley liked the bunny!

Look mom, I'm standing all on my own.

She looks so happy in this picture .. he he he j/k

Does this diaper make my but look big?

My little angel!

Jazz fan!

Hayley is such a blessing in my life. I didn't realize she would bring me as much joy as she has. She has become my M.O.L.

I am so glad the weather is getting warmer. I want to take Hayley outside more. She seems to get sick really easy so I have probably been a little overprotective of her. I took her for a walk in the neighborhood tonight. It was so relaxing for me, and she just sat there and took it all in. I hope I will have time to go on a walk every night. It was so nice!

Here is a picture of me as a baby (18 months old). Do you think Hayley looks her mom

Or do you think she looks like her dad?

Newborn Pictures

It took me a while, but I finally took Hayley in to get her newborn pictures taken. I think they turned out great, but then again I am biased. : ) She did pretty good for the pictures at first. I was surprised. She is usally in her best mood in the mornings but I couldn't get an appointment until later in the day. The last picture she posed for was the one I wanted to turn out the most. It is the one of her in the pink blanket. She was so upset that she was crying for 5-10 minutes straight. Just when I was about to give up on her calming down for the picture, she stopped crying and fell asleep. : )

She looks so peaceful!
This was one of the only smiles we were able to capture on film.

Baby and mommy...

She's a natural.

Look at that double chin. : ) It used to be a triple. he he he

What a cutie!

Hayley went to her 2 month appointment with the pediatrician recently. She is doing great! She is now 8 lb. 14 oz and 22.5 inches long. It's amazing how fast she is growing. She has really been trying to talk (coo) lately. It's been fun watcher her grow and learn!

Here are a few more random pictures of her ....

Hayley wasn't too happy about wearing the pumpkin hat, but I couldn't help putting it on her long enought to take a picture.

Here is Hayley with her Grandpapapa Fausett (above) and Grandma Fauset (below)

Hayley's Uncle Glen holding her at her cousin, Kenyon's Birthday party.

You can't see the 'H', but this is a cute bracelet Hayley's Grandma Holbrook (nana) made for her. She looks so cut in it!

Hayley with her Nana.

Another, not so happy, pose. I can't seem to get her when she is smiling. : )

She really is adorable.
